Have you ever heard of #GivingTuesday? It’s the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, and it is exactly two weeks from today on December 1. (On another note: can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week?!?)
This is a date that so many people donate to their favorite nonprofit organizations, and we want to ask you to support CBFSC and the Beverly Greer Offering for State Missions on this day.
We are going to be bold this year, and have a goal of raising $2,500 on Giving Tuesday. Can you help us reach this goal?
What will this support? So many things. We love to support our covenant mission partners, like Metanoia and Palmetto Works.
CBFSC has partnered with Metanoia for 20 years, and Palmetto Works for 10 years.
Through Metanoia in North Charleston, you help support youth leadership programs, entrepreneurial programs, and affordable quality housing.
Through Palmetto Works in Conway, you help provide fresh fruits and vegetables in the CHOPS produce store, and afterschool and summer programming.
This Giving Tuesday, December 1, will you donate to the Beverly Greer Offering for State Missions to support organizations like Metanoia and Palmetto Works?
#GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in unity—to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and heal.
