Associate Coordinator

The Coordinating Council of the Alabama Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is excited to announce that we are seeking a new Associate Coordinator.

The Associate Coordinator for Alabama CBF works alongside the Coordinator in serving the individuals and churches of Alabama CBF. This position is currently three-quarters time and requires 27.5 hours weekly. The work of the Associate Coordinator will touch on every aspect of the mission and ministry of Alabama CBF. Specific duties and areas of direct responsibility will be decided in collaboration with the Coordinator of Alabama CBF and other Alabama CBF staff members. When making these determinations, consideration will also be given to professional experience as well as personal interests and talents of the Associate Coordinator.

The Minister of Children and Families is called to help children, from birth through elementary school, thrive in life and faith by planning, coordinating, and implementing ministries of Aiken’s First Baptist Church (AFBC). Must be adept in conflict resolution and listening to team members. This individual must be unapologetically and enthusiastic about supporting Jesus focused discipleship at our church.

A seminary educated candidate with Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master in Religious Education (MRE), or Master in Christian Education (MCE) is preferred. In addition, candidate should have five to seven years of experience serving on a church staff.

Director of Children's Ministry

The focus of the ministry is around weekly programs on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
