Minister to Children and families

Pritchard at South End is seeing a part time Minister to Children and their Families.  This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and providing support for the Children’s Educational Ministry of the Church for infants through fifth grade.  Average of 20 hours per week normally, but work hours may increase during the summer months and during the week of Ridgecrest summer camp.
Time requirements to be determined in discussions with their direct supervisor and the ministerial team.

Minister of Youth and Children

Zion Baptist Church of Shelby, NC is seeking a full time Minister of Youth and Children. Unidiversity Youth Camp


Unidiversity is taking applications for our 2021 Camp Proclaimer. Unidiversity is a week-long Christian summer camp for teenagers that will take place at Maryville College (Maryville, TN) from July 20-24, 2021. We follow a collegiate theme with our schedule and take full advantage of the hospitable campus and attractive facilities. We are expecting around 300 teenagers in 2021 from among the Southeast and Midwest. We will be following strict COVID-19 health protocols in order to ensure our camp is successful and safe.

This person will be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and evaluating the activities of the children and youth of the church. The associate will preach when the pastor is away or sick. This person will maintain a regular schedule in the office, being available during the pastor’s scheduled time off, and will also help provide pastoral care. This person will be a professing Christian, called to full-time Christian service who has chosen the Baptist denomination, and one who will fit within the theological ideologies (1963 BF&M, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship) of the membership and the pastor. Though a Master of Divinity degree is preferred, a Divinity School student or a person with extensive church experience in serving children and youth will also be considered. Minister of Music

First Baptist Church, Mount Holly, NC, is seeking a Minister of Music. The music minister serves as a resource to support, foster, and coordinate the worship and spiritual life of the congregation through congregational, choral, and instrumental music, in coordination with the other ministries of the church. FBC is 10 miles west of Charlotte and is a CBF-affiliated congregation, and we welcome women as leaders in the pulpit and diaconate.  The position of Associate Pastor of Children and Youth Ministries exists to develop and oversee a comprehensive program of ministry that will model for children and youth, Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”  Children from birth through grade 5, and middle and high school age youth, grade 6 through 12, comprise departments for which the Associate Pastor of Children and Youth Ministries will focus their primary work.

Only seminary level students, seminary graduates, or candidates with extensive job related experience will be considered for this position.  Individual must be able to maintain the necessary knowledge and skills to provide leadership in keeping with the desires of the church.
