Giving Together
Your gifts make the ministries of CBFSC possible.
Give to CBF South Carolina
Your generosity supports life-changing ministry.
At CBF South Carolina, we want giving to be simple, clear, and trustworthy. To help churches and individuals facilitate both designated and undesignated contributions, we provide a customizable remittance form [link] that ensures every gift is distributed exactly as intended. Whether your congregation supports CBFSC through its budget, or you as an individual choose to give directly, we honor every designation and pass through those gifts faithfully. Contributions designated for other ministries are forwarded at the end of the month in which they are received, following reconciliation, so that funds reach their intended destination promptly.
When you give undesignated gifts to CBFSC, 55% of those gifts are shared with CBF Global to support our shared mission around the world. CBF South Carolina uses the other 45% to strengthen ministries here in South Carolina—such as mission grants, seminary scholarships, clergy and laity events, and our annual General Assembly. This way, your generosity makes a difference both locally and globally.
Our goal is to help you give with confidence, knowing that your generosity will be stewarded with integrity and care. If you ever have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we are here to help!
Ways Your Gift Makes a Difference:
- Supports Six Covenant Mission Partners serving vulnerable communities across South Carolina
- Funds Grants to churches and ministries doing innovative, justice-rooted work
- Equips and Encourages Clergy through peer groups, retreats, and leadership development
- Promotes Healthy Churches through coaching, consultation, and collaboration
- Connects with Global Missions through our partnership with CBF Global
Whether you’re giving a one-time gift or setting up a recurring donation, your generosity sustains the work of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of South Carolina and expands our shared witness to the love of Christ.

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of South Carolina Gift and Contribution Policy
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of South Carolina (hereafter referred to as “CBFSC”) utilizes a Remittance Form that was created to help churches in facilitating both designated and undesignated contributions to and through our office. This form can be downloaded and printed on demand, and CBFSC recommends sending it with each contribution check to ensure the proper allocation of funds. Email office@cbfsc.org with any questions, or to request this form be emailed to your church office.
The Remittance Form offers multiple options for designated contributions, and we encourage sending pass-through contributions to any and all partner ministries through the CBF South Carolina office. It has been the practice of CBFSC to honor ALL designated contributions and pass-through giving. All contributions that are designated to another ministry partner or organization are passed through to them at the end of the month in which they are received, after that month’s reconciliation has been completed. In short, you can’t go wrong sending contributions through CBFSC!
CBFSC strives to honor designated gifts correctly, so if there is ever a question of how to distribute a contribution, we will contact the church to clarify the designations. Please let us know if there are ever any questions – we are here to help!
