Supporting Healthy Congregations

CBFSC exists to champion the vitality and witness of local churches.

We know that congregational health isn’t about numbers alone—it’s about spiritual depth, strong leadership, meaningful mission, and authentic community. Whether your church is thriving, discerning a new direction, or facing a challenge, we’re here to help you flourish.
CBFSC supports healthy congregations through:

  • Leadership Development – Equipping pastors, staff, and lay leaders for faithful and effective ministry.
  • Missional Partnerships – Connecting churches with local and global mission opportunities that align with their passions and gifts.
  • Resource Sharing – Offering practical tools, coaching, and consulting for everything from governance to worship planning to community engagement.
  • Support During Transitions – Assisting congregations in times of pastoral transition, conflict resolution, or strategic discernment.
  • Peer Networks and Collaboration – Fostering connection among churches to learn from one another, share resources, and dream together.

No two churches are the same—but every church deserves support. CBFSC walks alongside congregations of all shapes and sizes, helping them become more healthy, whole, and hopeful.

Let’s partner together for what’s next.

Through partnerships with trusted youth-serving organizations—such as Passport Camps, Inc. and Unidiversity—Young Baptists offers vibrant summer camps and immersive experiences designed to inspire spiritual growth, build lasting Christian community, and encourage leadership among children, youth, and young adults. Whether through retreat settings, mentorship, or faith-centered adventures, this program helps congregations engage and equip young people for a lifetime of faithful discipleship and ministry.

Pan-African Koinonia (PAK)

Pan-African Koinonia (PAK) is a vibrant and growing network within CBFSC dedicated to connecting and empowering Baptists from the African diaspora—including African Americans, Caribbean, and African Baptists—within the life of our fellowship. PAK aims to strengthen partnerships with Black congregations and deepen Pan-African participation across all facets of Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, fostering intentional inclusion, intentional planning, and meaningful action. This ministry serves as both a community of belonging and a catalyst for equitable representation and advocacy in leadership, worship, and mission.
